Often called a “small town with a big heart,” Port St. Joe is renowned for its friendly people and warm hospitality. Mexico Beach

Located just 30 minutes east of Panama City Beach, this secluded coastal community offers the same breathtaking sugar sand beaches and emerald waters without the crowds and overdevelopment. Mexico Beach boasts unspoiled, quiet shoreline and some of the best sport fishing in the world. The town is also home to a number of locally owned shops and restaurants.

Although Hurricane Michael destroyed much of Mexico Beach when it struck the area in October 2018, the community has been working diligently to rebuild. Mexico Beach continues to make progress every day, reconstructing and improving while still preserving the same small-town charm residents and visitors have come to love about the area. Now is the ideal time to buy a property in this stunning beach town.

Cape San Blas

This one-of-a-kind community is located on St. Joseph Peninsula, a narrow stretch of land that extends out from Port St. Joe. Called simply “the Cape” by locals, Cape San Blas was named the Best Beach in America in 2002 by Dr. Beach. This stunning expanse of shoreline boasts some of the most pristine white sand beaches in the Sunshine State. The St. Joseph Bay Aquatic Preserve remains one of Florida’s least populated coastal areas where residents and visitors can view bountiful wildlife and connect with nature.

Only a 20-minute drive from Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas offers a number of small stores and restaurants, serving up everything from pizza to oysters. The town is renowned for an array of outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, biking and hiking. The Loggerhead Trail, an 8.7-mile recreational pathway, runs the length of the Cape. It’s the perfect spot for a morning jog, bike ride or leisurely family stroll.

If you’re searching for a secluded getaway to call home, the Cape is the place.
